Yellow Pages – Directory redesign

In 2007, with the digital revolution nipping at their heels, Yellow Pages approached us to revolutionise their directory. Our challenge was to make it easier and quicker for people to use.

They told us that everything was up for grabs. From the cover to the index, and all the yellowness in between. So we got to work making the design more user-friendly. We created an easy to understand tabbing system across the entire directory. We added quick links to the index. And we introduced feature pages on hot topics like insurance and wedding planning. We also redesigned the contents page and the listings page.

Oh, and because we just couldn’t help ourselves, we revamped the front cover using a bold and modern design showcasing the tabbing system. Well, they did say everything was up for grabs.
